I recently bought the PCB Einstein and also the Vagabond mini. I charged the Vagabond completely and went out yesterday. After 15 shots or something like that I noticed that the Einstein didn't work anymore so I checked the Vagabond and noticed that the 3 little green led lights no longer light up. The led light close to the USB plug was flashing green and orange at the same time (strange) and I also heard a bizar crackling sound. I immediatly turned off the vagabond and waited a few minutes. When I switched it on again I still heard the crackling sound. I also plugged in the battery to the power plug to see if it was still charged and it gave me a green light so I think that's ok. Since I had other things to do I could only try again this morning and the crackling sound was still there, altough this time it was barely noticeable. I disconnected the battery from the vagabond and plugged it in again and everything came back alive. I have the 3 green led lights powered up. and also the led light next to the USB plug is green. Also the crackling sound is gone. I will try again today to go outside today but I was wondering if you have an explanation for this strange behavior of the vagabond ?

Were you by chance running the model lamp when using the VML? Is this a 120VAC or 230VAC VML? Does the VML still provide power via the AC outlets? Was the crackling sound more electronic, or more mechanical (like a bad fan)? How long ago was the unit purchased?
