I have a PW TT5 and a AC9 attached to a UZ 1600. Is sorta works. The power adjustment works fine. The Hyper sync does not. I've tried to program the tt5 with all the different AB studio flashes in the list. (the UZ is not listed) and I get the same results. As soon as I get above 200th I get the dark shutter sync bands. I have tried the sync with out the AC9 and used just the TT5,and a canon 580II. it synced all the way to 8000 sec. no problem. I also tried the UZ 1600 with out the AC9 and of course, the Hyper sync was much worse. :x I seem sync is almost there but not quite. any ideas? I do not have any AB to test with and the other slash I have is a UZ2400.

HyperSync is a PocketWizard term, invention, and function. It is a matter of timing, and does not in any way alter how a studio light works (whether ours or any other). We do not make any claim regarding HyperSync capabilities (most certainly on lights which pre-date the technology). I would recommend contacting LPA (PocketWizard) directly at info@pocketwizard.com or 802-658-0038 xt 572. They should have a better feel of how well certain products work together as they have done the testing.
