Post subject: | Einstein Frosted Dome and Modifiers.... |
I just put together my first full size light modifier, a 60" octobox I bought to use on my Einstein. Should I remove the frosted dome when using this, or any other soft box, or leave it on? Thanks in advance. |

The design intention is to keep it on at all times, however, the choice is yours. For soft boxes, it is less critical, as the model lamp and flash tube would be homogonized anyway. For more direct reflectors, PLM's, etc, leaving the dome in place will help homogonize the lgith coming from the two, and giving a better representation of what the flash will look like when using the model lamp as reference. |
