OK, so I have had a B1600 in for repairs for several weeks. I followed all the requirements - filled out the web page form, mailed my Strobe with insurance and I have confirmation it arrived on April 30, 2012.

About a week later, I get a message stating that they received my strobe on April 17 (?). I called the service department on Friday May 11 and asked for the status. I was told that they have too many Einsteins in the shop and they were running way behind. So I asked when I should expect "my call". I was told "no later than Friday, May 18". Well, its Late Monday, May 21 and still no call.

What is up with these guys? Is anybody else having trouble getting their strobes fixed? How long is reasonable? I was told on my telephone call that they don't have enough people. OK, its a small outfit - but if the service is poor, the service is poor. How long is a reasonable time to wait to get your strobes fixed?

Issues such as this are outside of the scope of this forum, which is intended for technical discussions only. In cases such as this, it would be best to contact our customer service department.

However, I have forwarded your concerns to our repair and customer service teams and somebody should contact you shortly.

With DEEPEST RESPECT, Mr Site Administrator, getting timely repairs on your product IS A TECHNICAL issue. If one cannot get equipment repaired in a timely manner, what is the point of a technical forum? No equipment, No Forum. Equipment Breaks. It Happens. If you cannot get equipment repaired, then there is a flaw in the system. In my mind, this a concern that others both need to know and should be concerned about.

Ben

I agree with you, and have brought this up to my staff.
