I've recently purchased my first Einstein, and I love it. However, I don't want to use the model light, so I've set the Model Mode to OFF. I've also set the Recycle Indicator to audible only. After I take a photo, the model light turns back on, and I have to repeat the process. I am especially concerned about this when I use my Vagabond Mini, as I don't want it to run down the power. Any ideas how to turn the model light off permanently...other than removing the lamp? :)

Here's my current setup:

Einstein 640 triggered by Pocketwizard Power MC2
Nikon D700 using Pocketwizard MiniTT1

When using the Cyber Commander/CSXCV or, to a lesser extent (due to less control available), Pocket Wizard TT/MC2 any input from the control panel on the light itself is overridden by the transmitting device.

There is an option in the TT1/TT5 menu in the PW utility for model lamp control. If it is enabled, then it will override flash unit settings.

For specifics or further assistance on the MC2 or any other PocketWizard product, please contact LPA (PocketWizard) at http://www.pocketwizard.com/contact/inquiry/,
info@pocketwizard.com or 802-658-0038 x572
