The demarcation for the flash tubes is:
U600-s/n 6073,
U1200 s/n 6809
U1800 s/n 5137
However, if you are looking to buy used, or have bought used lights, the lights prior to these may have been sent in for an update to the newer version. If there are tube in the light, and there are straight wires, then that is the old version. If the tubes have a banana plug, that is the new version.
New version flash units will have 3 round brass female connectors per tube, while the older ones have a clip like connector. If you would like specifics on a light, you can call us with the serial numbers in question.
