I pulled out my CC the other day, turned on the light and then hit the refresh button on the CC. Well, the screen on the CC went completely blank and the einstein started firing off as fast as could be. I quickly turned off the einstein and put new batteries into the CC. When I restarted everything, the einstein wouldnt respond to the CC. I had to reload the settings from the micro sd and then refresh before it would work. Do I need to make sure I repalce the batteries in the cc before they get this low?

This can happen if the batteries get so low they crash the processor, which can then revert settings (which is why nothing worked).

So, we recommend not hesitating to replace batteries and saving set ups to the SD card or internal memory.
