Hi all...
Question for B800 users.
Finally got a few minutes to play with my new beauty dish - hooked it up to
one of my B800's and all was good until I lowered the power to 1/32. Took two shots then the B800 wouldn't flash.
Noticed the 'dump' light was on and pushed the reset - nada - light stayed on.
Turned it off and let it sit - turned it on - dump light still on. Won't flash.

Suggestions?

Thanks Richard

That's the power I had set when same thing happen. There seems to be some defective units recently produced.

Make sure nothing is in the phone jacks of either of these lights. Something inserted without the proper commands can cause undesired effects, including the dump light coming on and staying on.

If the red dump light is staying on, then the unit will need to come in for repair. If the dump light is not on, unplug the light, and wait about 10 minutes then double check the flash tube to ensure it is full seated and there is no breakage.

There is nothing to suggest a run of defective units recently produced. The lights mentioned cover a span of several years. However, if the units are faulty after the above items are verified, contact our customer service department to see what (if) warranty resolution options are available.
