Hi friends :)
Wondering if someone can help....
One of my Einstein keep resetting the optical slave option to "on" even if i manually put it to off with the Function button on the back of the unit..
This is very frustration and bring great deal of time spent to putting it to off very very often...
Use CyberCommander and the CyberSync™ Transceiver
Part Number: CSXCV (incredibly weird and confusing naming here!!!)

thanks for your help guys...

Any setting made on the back of the light will be overridden by the Cyber Commander. You can either turn the model lamps of via the CC, or you can turn the model lamps off via the head, then open from studio (or an individual channel). Specifics on how to turn off the model lamps via the CC can be found here: http://www.paulcbuff.com/manuals/cc.pdf on pages 32 and 33

It's all about the "optical Slave trigger" NOT the Modeling lamp....

You are correct, my apologies. However, the same principle applies. As well, the slave eye setting is in the same menu page, covered under 32, 33, and also 34.
