Control dual Sony Nex 5 onboard an RC helicopter... I need to synchronize from as far as I can get... 1 mile? Is this possible... What's the unit I need? G. |

Firstly, our remotes reach 300-400 feet. Even with repeater mode, you would not be able to reach one mile. Pocket Wizard, currently the farthest reaching remote, will only reach a maximum of 1600 feet. Secondly, I do not believe the NEX series has a remote input port. Therefore, I do not know of a solution to work for you, however, I do know we do not have a solution to meet your needs as described. |

DIY long range triggers are usually based on inexpensive walkie talkies. If you Google, camera trigger long range, you will get several of different resources - some DIY and some you just buy.
